To configure your computer for Internet access by using a proxy server
- Obtain the proxy system address from your network administrator.
- On the Edit menu, choose Options, or click the

button on the tool bar.
- Click the Proxy tab.
- Specify the proxy address and any other information supplied by your system administrator.
Note
- Microsoft Internet Explorer works only with proxy servers that are compliant with the CERN proxy server standard. It does not work with ANS proxies or with servers using SOCKS security.
